On Line Giving

Support the Food Bank

On the first Sunday of the month, St. Ambrose parishioners show their generosity by “brown bagging” donations for the local food pantry. Please consider bringing a bag of non-perishable food or cleaning products. Just leave your bag in the vestibule as you arrive for Mass. Thank you!

Ministry of Care: Prayer Request

If you have a special prayer request, please contact Trish Danku. You can call Trish at home in the evenings at 330-802-2463 or email her at gdanku@neo.rr.com. Please put St. Ambrose Prayer Team in the subject line when you email her. We would also like to invite you to become a member of the Ministry of Care. There are no meetings to attend – all that is required is 5 to 10 minutes daily in prayer to ask for God's blessings on those people who are in need of prayer. If you are interested in joining, please call the rectory.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The R.C.I.A. is a formation process for adults (18 years of age and older) who wish to become Catholic. Classes are held in the rectory or church hall for learning, faith sharing and fellowship. The culmination of the R.C.I.A. is at the Easter Vigil at which time we will celebrate the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. If you or someone you know may be interested in becoming Catholic and being involved in the R.C.I.A. classes, please call the rectory at 330-527-4105.

Youth Ministry Mass for Life in Washington DC

St. Ambrose and St. Michael Youth Ministry will be attending the national March for Life and Youth Mass for Life in Washington DC on January 18, 2019. This will be a charter bus trip and several other area Youth Groups will be attending with us. We have been fundraising all year, but this is an expensive, yet worthwhile, endeavor. Our cost ends up being around $60.00 per attendee. If you would like to financially support for our trip, please consider sponsoring one of our young attendees. We hope to have about twenty of us attend. Your donation could be dropped in the offering basket or sent to the rectory, payable to St. Ambrose Youth Ministry.

Peterson Nuts

The women of the 2019 renewal team are once again selling Peterson's Nuts after masses at St. Ambrose and St. Michael, just in time for your holiday table or gifting. Your contribution to our fund raiser helps pay for women attending our CRHP renewal weekend on May 4-5, 2019.
